My friend Haywood Graves of Danville, Va., and I just got back from a sky-diving trip to Jonesville, NC, where we performed a tandem jump.
I must say this was the first time I ever did such a thing, and it was quite thrilling!
I just can't conver into the words the sensation you get when you first jump off that airplane and look down at the ground beneath before realizing you are suspended in mid-air.
Whew!!!!!!

It was something else!
I must say that the staff at Carolina Skydiving was very professional. They are conviently located between Greensboro, Raleigh and Charlotte. And, they are only 114 miles from my hometown of Roanoke, Va.
Now, it's your turn to jump out of an airplane!
