My cousin Erroll Gokbudak of Chicago is a huge NASCAR fan who traveled to Bristol, Tenn., to see a car race last year. Amazingly enough, he is a Democrat, but it seems like 95 percent of NASCAR nation thinks Sarah Palin is the new Princess Diana.
I prefer soccer, and it seems like most people who follow the sport don't vote Republican. Speaking for myself, I certainly don't see Sarah Palin as the new Princess Diana though I wouldn't mind if she got eaten by a polar bear! (see earlier entry).
